House Rules is a Cape Town based fusion band blending soul, rock, and ballads into their signature sound. Formed in 2021, they’ve performed across South Africa and beyond, from central Cape Town venues to festival stages and an international tour in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Their lineup features a dynamic mix of vocals, keys, drums, lead guitar, bass, trombone, and trumpet, delivering an unmistakable House Rules experience.

Founder, Artist and Producer at Listen Bru studios, Elijah is a full time engineering student in stellenbosch with a passion for creativity and music. 

His debut single "Was She the One" is available on all platforms. The 80's inspired power ballad explores the deep longing of a lost love.
